Peter Lofts has been a professional photographer for most of his working life. He has worked in commerical and advertising photography but in the 1980s he purchased the business of Ramsey and Muspratt in Post Office Terrace and the emphasis of his work changed to portraiture and weddings.

Leaving Cambridge for a while, he was Portrait Manager at a large studio in Cobham, Surrey, before returning to Cambridge as General Manager at Eaden Lilley Photography.

Peter now freelances from the small town of Market Deeping, just north of Peterborough.
